As a Consultant Speech and Language Therapist and experienced Expert Witness I specialise in thorough assessments of children who’s parents are appealing Local Authority SEN / EHCP decisions with regards to Speech and Language Therapy and school placements.
In addition to my SEN Tribunal work I provide tailored Speech & Language Therapy to a handful of children in South Wales and online with children worldwide.
Assessments
I believe in building on your child’s strengths and as such I thoroughly assess you child’s speech and language therapy skills prior to therapy using a battery of formal and informal assessments to ensure no stone is left unturned. This may include referrals (wholly at the parent’s discretion) to other clinicians. I offer assessments to families across Cardiff; Newport; Penarth and local areas.
Detailed Assessment
A 60-90 minute assessment of your child’s Speech, Language and Communication skills including a 2-3 page report and clear recommendations.

Direct One to One Therapy
In my experience every child is different to the next and as such my speech and language therapy approach in Cardiff (and surrounding areas) is tailored to the needs of the child and family. I am trained in a vast range of SLT approaches and my biggest passion is up-skilling others to continue with therapy when I’m not there!
At Your Family Home
Engaging one to one independent Speech Therapy sessions for a duration of 60 minutes (including feedback to parents).
Speech and Language Therapy Training
I am experienced in delivering bespoke, engaging, training on a range of subjects within Speech & Language Therapy and have done so to schools and universities across the UK and the Middle East. I can offer speech and language therapy training to schools in Cardiff; Penarth; Newport and surrounding areas.
